Joyport’s webgame Sacred Shevalier licensed to Japan

Hangzhou-based Joyport’s webgame Crystal War has a combination of SLG and RPG. The game was highly praised since its debut in 2010 for the unique western graphics, storyline and gameplay.

Recently, Joyport claimed that Crystal War 2 would premiere in Japan with the new name Sacred Shevalier (“Shevalier” is a special term, meaning an “S” chevalier).

It is said that the game’s characters were designed by several Japanese master illustrators. The game will be operated by Gamania Japan.

Rekoo has released a new social game on Mixi

The Chinese social gaming company Rekoo has launched a new game on Mixi, called “Let’s build a train town”. The maker of popular game Sunshine Ranch is conducting some kind of “test run” for its newest title first to monitor usage.Currently, 50% of Rekoo revenue comes from abroad. Rekoo has released Sunshine Ranch on Mixi in 2009 and got 2 million users in two months. Sunshine Ranch has 5.6 million users by the end of March. The mobile version of Sunshine Ranch was been published in this year. At the same time, Sunshine Ranch has released in South Korea Nate platform and ranked 5.
